The Concert and Auction

The Midwest Performing Arts Youth Performance Groups are hosting a Concert for a Cause that will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2020 with a silent auction at 2:00 PM and dance concert at 3:00 PM at the Waunakee High School Performing Arts Center. The goal of this event is for our young dancers to present the community with a beautiful dance concert, while also getting involved and supporting a good cause. All proceeds from this year’s event will help raise funds for Brody Koslowski and his family.

Please helping us to achieve our goal of raising $10,000. You can help support this cause in a few different ways. Please see the options below and let us know if you would be able to contribute in any of these ways.

  • Donation/ Program Advertising: Donations can be made directly to the cause. Please note that Donations of $200 or more are eligible for your business logo in our event program. If you wish to have your logo in the program, please send your logo to meghan@mpadance.com no later than February 15th. Please make all checks payable to Midwest Performing Arts.

  • Silent Auction Items: A silent auction will be a part of this event prior to the performance and during intermission. If you have any items or services that could be donated and included in this auction, we would be thankful for that donation. All silent auction items and forms are due to MPA by February 15th.

We realize that we could not make this event possible without the support of our volunteers, donors and community members. We greatly appreciate any type of contribution you are willing to make. We are very excited about this event and the opportunity to help a great cause. This Concert and Silent Auction is open to anyone that is interested in showing their support, so the employees and other staff members of your business are, of course, cordially invited to join us.

The Cause

Brody Koslowski

Brody is a sweet, dinosaur- loving 4 year old who was recently diagnosed with CLN2, a rare, fatal, genetic disorder that affects children. It is a form of Batten disease that attacks the nervous system, affecting vision, motor skills and speech. Presently, there is no cure for CLN2, but there is a treatment that can slow the progression of this horrible disease. We appreciate your support for Brody and his family, Matt, Molly, and new baby brother Colton, in their effort to fight the progression of this disease in hope that buying time allows science to catch up and for researchers to find a cure.

For more information about Brody and his fight against this disease you can visit his Facebook page: Brody’s Roar or www.brodysroar.com.
